(The reason why I got interested in that is because I looted my father's office this weekend and got some new data carriers. My father started using computers in the 1980's, but as a means, not as an object of interest per se. So if I can find these in a linguistics professor's office, archives and libraries will get plenty of those - if they don't bury their head in the sand out of fear.)
