@Heterokromia @xssfox Why aren't there programs to install second-hand panels for people who can't afford new ones? I'm no solar expert but even at 50% of originally installed capacity that's still better than none!

@sitharus @Heterokromia the panels usually make up less 50% of the total installation. So when you factor in removing, testing panels and risk with using older panels it's usually not worth it

@sitharus @Heterokromia @xssfox Read about one here in Australia a coupla days ago. Also I hear some people put them on their garage with a separate inverter, not connected to the grid. Illegal, but they do it anyway.
