Take it back to the store and unscrew it using another one on the shelf.

@futuresprog oh, all of the bits for this one were packaged in plastic behind the screw, so it'd need to be a different one! (fortunately this was not my first screwdriver, so it was no trouble, and a knife or spoon would have done to open it if it was)
