Oh AI. I’ve been using ChatGPT for a few nerdy Linux things — it gave me good curly quotes in nvim for example — but it just took me on the biggest wild goose chase trying to get my foot terminal transparent. Do this! Do that! Finally I asked the right question (perhaps?) and it admitted that Foot doesn’t support transparency at all. Lesson in that. If it’s true. Update: It wasn’t true! Worked it out the old fashioned way. Turns out [colors] alpha=0.75 does the trick.
