New project: trying Kazeta https://kazeta.org/ on a Dell Optiplex 3050 TFF PC. I installed kazeta to the NVMe in the system, then created a USB drive with the unpacked AppImage of Sumash (the Shamus-like game I made with GameMaker for a game jam). The system boots to the NVMe, then looks for any drives with .kzi files (ideally SD cards, but a USB key worked). It booted right into my game. Pretty awesome stuff. Now I just need to start making games for Linux again.

  • The System Requirements for Kazeta looked like it would not work very well on older #TinyMiniMicro computers like this due to wanting a dedicated graphics card and a warning that Intel graphics *may* work on processors 2017 and newer. Let us know how it worked for you. I would think that less demanding games could work fine, but that warning in the Docs kept me from trying it on machines with only Intel integrated graphics. #Kazeta #Linux #gaming #retro
