seeing this stuff about FBI Stooge No 1 and it's all about his drinking. Look. I don't give a fuck if some politician or whoever is a heavy drinker. If you're gonna lean into that shit, you'd better get ready to arrest most of the fuckers in politics. Those ppl can drink like nobody's business. But that's not what makes patel an asshole. I've known ppl on the street who could drop two flagons of wine and still be ethical. Shit, I'm a recovered alcoholic and I'm not too bad. It's like the thing with trump "Oh, he's old" I don't give a fuck that he's old. My Great Grandma, bless her memory barely knew what was goin on in her 90s and would call me about 12 different names, some of which I think she just made up on the spot and yet SHE WAS A REALLY NICE LADY. Nicer, in fact. Great Grandad was lovely. Also had Parkinson's, not fun for him, but didn't make him a bad person. I've known ppl who about 90% of their experience was of shit that ain't even happening and even with profound schizophrenia would do right by people. Poor fucker was terrified most of the time, but also kind. When nixon would get loaded and threaten to nuke SE Asia, that wasn't down to his drinking, it was down to THE FACT THAT HE WAS A GIGANTIC ASSHOLE RACIST It's such a fuckin *liberal* goddamned thing to do to sit there going "ahahaha it's cause he's mad" or "it's cause she's a drug addict" or "haha he poops his pants" or "he can't stand up" what the fuck does that have to do with anything? I hate these ppl cause they're nasty bigoted, power-hungry, vicious imperialistic shitheads. I know what it is tho. It's the tendency to avoid any possibility that you might have the capacity to be like that, so you go "Ah, they're one of *them* and I'm not like that, cause I'm not mad/drunk/high/shittin myself/unable to stand up/old/whatever" It's a way of preventing self-reflection. Cause you're not the hunchback king, right? You're one of the *good* guys. I tell you what, if the fuckers bring the gas bus to my disabled ass, I sure as hell hope I got an extremist on my side, cause I can't trust no damn moderate to help me knock em out. And god help you if shit goes wrong in your mind and/or body, cause that bus will be waiting for you too. Will they have *your* back on that day?
