@Njord Temporarily setting aside the bigger picture... I think "useful in limited cases", such as first drafts of writing which will subsequently be checked, AND "worse than useless" in other situations, such as when advising people to eat poisonous mushrooms, or making it more difficult to find accurate information, or encouraging unmaintainable code. I'd rather do my own writing as well, but not everyone's like that.
