@lewd Crappy trains sold at over expensive prices despite the dictatorship’s government subsidies this is a good early sign that just as any totalitarian regime, the one in PRC is self-destructive and unsustainable. technology falling behind as those who would push to advance it are bullied abroad or shoved into concentration camps, and those who remain cannot work optimally under the terror. even with subsidies, the industry cannot keep up, and their public image is largely backed by disinformation, not reality that state is already rotting from the inside and it’s only a matter of time before everything starts falling apart for them
