this is why every night I haul 30kg of kit bags out of my car and don't leave anything valuable looking in there, even if I have to walk 50 metres with all the bags and make multiple trips. Thankfully my more desirable power tools are kept in a secure room at my workplace (as I'm either working on cars in the yard or the building itself), if I do any side jobs on other sites I keep my tools in non-obvious bags and as I'm not wiring whole buildings don't need to carry too much with me..

@vfrmedia @stufromoz Learned the hard way to never leave anything of even minor value in a street-parked car. Had my door and boot locks pried open with a screwdriver which destroyed them. Hope you got a good price for that smelly old coat and the factory am/fm radio from a 1985 Camry that probably wouldn't work in anything else. Car wasn't worth replacing the locks so I just left it unlocked all the time and nobody bothered it.
