@markwoll I was under the impression that every event in the USA was an excuse to buy assault rifles. Less need for hunting equipment here in Nottingham, UK (with the exception of Robin Hood needing to restock bows and arrows).

@HowardGees In certain circles that certainly is the case. The a majority feel otherwise, but the 'lawmaker' feel constrained by the threat of violence from "Second Amendment" fanatics. Not hunters, but gun cultists.
