Wife was the one to spot the pileated woodpecker on our walk this morning. Nether munchkin nor I gota good shot before it flew off. :(

The gold and ruby crowned kinglets were out in force. Most of our viewing was like this. Cornell's Merlin describes the ruby kinglet as: look like they've had one too many shots of caffeine. Look for a tiny bird flitting around nervously flicking its wings. Can confirm. They are super hard to get a photo of.
