remember what the FBI did to leaders of the USA Civil Rights movement. it doesn't matter if you're not Black, it doesn't matter if you don't live in USA, that can happen to all of us when we fight back. the state does not like being undermined.

that makes it no less important to fight back anyway. remember what the Pinkertons did to striking workers in Homestead, Pennsylvania, and Ludlow, Colorado. remember what the Baldwin-Felts did to striking workers in Matewan, West Virginia. remember the Battle of Blair Mountain. the song "Which Side Are You On?" was born from these struggles. whatever you might think of Pete Seeger, i think his is the most haunting rendition of the song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsNVzwuJeVk
