Computer Engineering degree. I'm not planning on bringing a desktop so would much rather get a new laptop that I can 200% rely on for a longggg time.
In terms of OS, would love to run Linux but really just depends on what software I'll end up using because at least some engineering software doesn't play real nice with Linux. I've considered duel-booting windows and linux but I'll rather everything be in one place rather then spread across many systems.
I also do some medium weight gaming. Would love to get a #Framework if the finances work out

@MIfoodie @clive @frameworkcomputer What country are you in? Does battery life matter? Can you be more specific about need vs want for gaming? Budget? If in the states Apple fact refurb is REALLY good, or OWC and any Apple Silicon with 16GB RAM, or more if your worried, will do most anything. https://www.apple.com/shop/refurbished
