@TeamMidwest I haven't thought about the Foxfire books in *ages*! I'd be concerned with the *looong* term viability of a coastal site in the volcanic, seismic, and tsunami prone place like New Zealand (not that any place is immune to disaster, long term). On the other hand, it sounds like a lovely place to spend a human lifetime, statistically.
