@zbrando I'm afraid neither Gemini, Gopher or the "small web" would fix the current problems with LLM crawling bots or slop content, which could also surface there eventually.

@dillo @zbrando is there anything we can do against LLM crawling ? and is it actually a good idea to even try to do anything about it ? (i am against locking out information even if it is to block datamining) actually I think our ad-free unmonetizable small web can be pretty resilient against slop content, if there's no money to be made there's no reason to make excessive slop (and slop really is a search engine problem, we need to figure out search engines)
