@momo i actually have. different way of doing breakdowns, namely the first 4 channels are all kicks. so: 1) is 4/4 on a 4-beat cycle (last:4), which means i can add in a beat here or there live and amend the base beat on the fly (rather than having to place 4+ notes its 1). 2) the same kick but on a 7beat pattern (last:7) with some scattered beats towards the downbeat. since it's on a 7 beat bar it cycles through the 4/4 in an interesting and "uh something's gonna happen here" sorta way. 3) same/similar kick but now on a 5 beat cycle (last:5) with beats towards the off beat. again with being an odd pattern length this cycles vs the 4/4 and channel 2. 4) same/similar kick, 4 or 8 beat length (last:4/8) but with beats on the offbeats cont..
