@MattMoose I like a challenge, lol. I have customised the living daylights out of this install and was hoping to fix the mistakes made while sleep-deprived on Friday the 13th... But if I go through the logs it appears I did a bit more than just screw up initramfs-tools. It's in a sorry state right now. I'm making a list of the affected packages in an attempt to do a rollback manually. File by file if I have to. It's a puzzle for sure.

@RandamuMaki Bravo you! Cheering you on, and I hope you enjoy getting it sorted out :) I kind of know how things work under the surface, and frequently add or remove software, but I rarely if ever go managing core system setups if I can avoid it!
