Do you write the scenes out of order? If so, how do you decide on their arrangement?
Write? No, because I create the storyboard in reading order. But for Chapter Three, I decided to draw the scenes in a random order to avoid overly detailed opening pages and rushed closing ones.

Introduce your MC without telling us their age, gender, job and who they are to others (eg. friend, parent etc.). Esther used to be a beautiful and well educated toy in the hands of her relatives. #wordweavers 2026-03-03

@art_of_goulwenr that is an interesting and seemingly good approach to have the overall feelings about the story a bit evened out. I have seen many comics that had a drop in artwork quality somewhere around the end. I cross my fingers that you are successful and don't run into other issues. ππΎπ
