My grandma also called it a davenport. I call it a sofa, although I have heard some call it a couch.
And yes, pop is called pop. A soda is when you have pop with ice cream in it.
(My vocabulary is based in central/western New York State, with some residue of Canadian childhood.)

@CommonSparrow Ah, a soda when there is ice cream in it. I think we just called those Floats. It’s funny all the different word usages. Makes me smile.
