As many raise questions about #EuroOffice and the #AGPL license ( @nextcloud #Ionos...) my current recommendation is to read:
* @fsf 's "You cannot use the #GNU (A)GPL to take #softwarefreedom away https://www.fsf.org/blogs/licensing/agpl-is-not-a-tool-for-taking-freedom-away
* and @bkuhn 's "#AGPL v3§7¶4 Empowers Users to Thwart #Badgeware" https://sfconservancy.org/blog/2026/apr/16/badgeware-onlyoffice-nextcloud-affero-gpl/

@kirschner thanks for sharing! We have also published a statement about license compliance in #EuroOffice in our blog: https://nextcloud.com/blog/euro-office-license-compliance-and-what-open-source-means/ @fsf @bkuhn

@kirschner @nextcloud @fsf @bkuhn@copyleft.orgkuhn is biased. His words are more a wish. See dirk riehle for independent view.
