@futtta She's just appeared and I asked her. There is some posh partying and to a lesser extent racism, amongst small groups but there is general awareness of who these people are and it's easy to avoid them. I used the word prevalent and she said definitely not. As an addition, Exeter is the nearest city to me and I go there for gigs and/or a night out several times a year and I've never encountered issues. I'd agree with Jules' description of the city from my experience.
