@AndyGER Let me put it this way: If you tape someone's mouth shut, then you prevent them from talking not just to you, but to others as well. This could even be considered assault. This is not what happens with blocking on social media. You are merely preventing them from talking to _you_ in particular. Their ability to talk to others is _not_ impeded, and indeed their posts remain visible for all to see (if they were public in the first place).
