I get why folk who depend on it to maintain their sense of stability under a death cult are glad for it, but personally I'm horrified to hear that we're saving "national public radio" not through anything ostensibly public like taxes, but through the philanthropy of capitalists. Your kids are going to grow up in a world were "private" is when corporations exploit them and when "public" is when corporations help them. That's not... public/private. That's "feudalism," with *fewer* steps.

shoutout to the folk who, when they saw that billionaires could defund "public" radio, realized that means "public" is meaningless vibes-slop that they had believed like an LLM consuming training data, and realized that to have public radio, they, the public, would have to have radios, and so went out and bought radios.

That this is happening at the same time multiple corporations put out their own versions of constitutions, like how Palantir is doing, should have many more of you questioning: "Wait... is the federal government effectively dead? What am I *doing* with my time?!" You're concerned about elections being stolen when the people who would do so are behaving as though elections have stopped happening. Get with it.
