Exploring the spectrum to reveal its unexpected musicality, the resulting concert is specific to each venue where it is performed. Feral Bands' research is based on the radical evolution of today's electromagnetic landscape, marked not only by the massive bandwidth requirements of smartphones, but also by the abandonment of some waves, which have become feral, returned to the wild. These frequencies, such as long- and medium-wave (LW/MW), where amplitude-modulated (AM) radio used to operate, now give space to phenomena that are no longer intended for human ears: interference, “natural radio” phenomena linked to climate and terrestrial electromagnetic disturbances, or parasitic radiation from electrical infrastructures.
