So, first read the second sentence of my message, where I fully agree that it’s necessary.
Second, to each of your “- Nobody”, let me answer “Yes, billions in advertising”.
Which is an answer much too short, but that’s the gist of it. You can add people keeping cars beacause public transit sucks, people flying because trains are more expansive and sucks, etc, etc.
You can be mostly carbon neutral, but it’s a huge ask.

@proscience and then you see the style of life of the 1%, burning in a few seconds what you would in a year, and maybe, maybe you finally @phil_stevens ends by saying fuck it all. So yeah, tax the rich to the head, get rid of ads, develop public transit, deploy clean energy, etc. etc. and then individual actions will start looking more doable, and more impactful.
