New #DEval study on #climatechange #mitigation The international #REDD+ program aims at reducing #deforestation and #forestdegradation in #developingcountries, to reduce #CO2 #emissions and #climate change. The study shows that REDD+ achieved capacity building for #forestconservation and put #forests on the global agenda, but has not yet met its high expectations nor lead to significant emission reductions.
