A weird thing that Baruch Spinoza (one of the people who sparked the Enlightenment), Gilles Deleuze (one of the people who sparked Postmodernism) share, despite living three centuries apart, is that both of them became significantly more politically active after being infected by tuberculous, a respiratory illness that rarely killed quickly, instead disabling them in increments as bacterial infection got retriggered over and over. Weirdly, this is something both men share with Arthur Morgan, the protagonist of the Red Dead Redemption II video game!
