@phil_stevens not going to disagree rhat the global/material impact is SFA.
I do think an under-appreciated benefit (well, outcome anyway) is that owning your personal impact can focus your awareness very clearly on the scale of the situation, the level and direction of change required, but also the simplicity of the changes and therefore the vastness of the stupidity involved of not taking them.
Just gotta harness the rage I guess

@anyothertime I'm a proponent of "do what you can" but with the caveat to take the easy way out if it involves your health and ability to cope. We didn't make or choose this system and we need strength to tear it down and build a better one....strength that can be wasted trying to be overly virtuous.
