@nosfe I was immediately awestruck by this; I've never seen this while developing film in the past, regardless of the particulars of the emulsion chemistry. (I used to do chemical film development once upon a time, this was about 26 years ago; & I still have a love affair with some aspects of chemistry, sooooo) in my experience, reaching out to the authors of the paper; they're likely to get back to you. it may take a bit, but you're very likely to get a response. luck to you with the photos.
