@nosfe There's a couple of different rule-sets that can produce Sierpinksi/Pascal triangles and they are all very very simple!
Here, I personally think bacterial first, but maybe it's lower level than that.

@megatronicthronbanks got info from an artist that has used bacteria on film that bacteria would feast on all gelatin layers, so it would be unlikely
