@berdir @drupalsecurity it seems it probably was the notification email!
You can set it at https://git.drupalcode.org/-/profile/notifications
It was set to a dummy Drupal.org fake user email. I hope that is not the default for all users

@klausi @berdir @drupalsecurity people do have to opt in and configure a few places and it's somewhat confusing where to get them all done. I'm not sure why it was done that way.
