I tried to do a there-and-back-again from Naarm to Birdsville in August but bombed out before I reached Mildura: I am too old and fat for sleeping on a bedroll anymore, and the stock R18 saddle clearly needed a few more months to break my arse in.
Next time: hotels.

@thorne Yeah, I often just use hotels. Costs a lot more, but it makes everything easier when you're on a long trip. @leerayl @Valheru
