I've had a desperate poutine craving for weeks, but I can't find any down here at the opposite border, and even if I could the gravy would be beef gravy. So I made my own vegan gravy and now I have vegetarian poutine.
To put it mildly, THIS IS INCREDIBLE.

eating poutine again today (the amount of gravy I made seems to be about three servings of poutine worth). it's still just as good the second day. i first had poutine in a back-alley pub in niagara falls. this isn't that, but it's damn close.
