So, I'm delving into simulating Quantum Field Theories on the lattice again, for self-education, but also to complement the second edition of our Quantum Field Theory textbook, which is kind of overdue. I find the ideas behind this very fascinating, so maybe I'll share some of my journey here. Here's my first quantitative result on a 16x16x16x16 spacetime lattice, the two point correlations of a free scalar field with a mass of 0.2 units. Amazingly, the exponential decay says that the Mass is 0.2 units - success! So join in with the fun :) #physics #physicsedu
