@Bobo_PK @justdude You might see if there's a Free Geek (https://www.freegeek.org/) near you. You profile makes me think you are located in CA, possibly Alberta, and I don't know of the Free Geek near there -- the closest I could think of would be the one in Vancouver, but they shut down in 2022.
The one near me (https://www.freegeekarkansas.org/home) continues to provide free laptops and desktops, and I still drop off any hardware I don't have a plan to use there.

@BoydStephenSmithJr @justdude thanks for the hint. Funny that I seem US based. We do have @computertruhe in Germany. They offer a similar service.
