This is not capitalism. These companies are not gaining in productivity, they are gaining in control and domination. They are not investing in today's productivity but in securing the fiefdoms they can keep to themselves forever.
They've decided they can't win at capitalism, so they're changing the rules. Instead of fluid markets, they are creating commercial stalemates. It's a different way to win, it's a different game altogether.

They are showing their cards and telling us exactly what kind of society they want, and what kind of society can guarantee their continued existence. It doesn't look like capitalism, and it doesn't look like democracy.
