Me and the rest of the team has decided that due to the stress, internal issues, and other issues, the WAF.moe project is officially shutting down on June 2, 2026 at 12:00 AM (GMT+8). This is not a April fool's joke, nor is it a everyday joke. Even the team doesn't want to do this. We have loved the community and the things we did as a community, from the countless bite wars on early inception of the instance, to the planned debut of Huli, our mascot (really thanks @kestrelcrow for this). If you need help migrating to another instance or need your account/followers export, please join WAF(cord) and ping a syswafmin. Fluxcord, and both the Discord and Fluxer servers will be staying. Fluxcord will stay with no modifications and both servers will become just a community server for my projects (and a hangout server). Unfortunately, the Matrix homeserver and WAFmatrix will shut down. WhoWAF (now called Profilecat) is also not affected as it's now going to be a independent project by @maxpixels. You can get updates on it on @profilecat@tokyonight.city. I wanted to thank everybody that helped make this instance on what it is right now, from our admins, June who made the new logo, Gwen who helped a lot on trying to fix the issues behind the instance, Max and Noma for helping keeping up the instances with me, and Milky for having there since the inception of WAF.moe, alongside with people that helped for everything, Kestrel for helping with Huli, to the WAFscot participants, the rest of the WAFRN development team, the Sharkey development team, and finally everyone that joined, posted in WAF.moe. Thank you, for being here, and following the journey we had from having this instance just be a plan to being here right now.
