Years ago, I wrote a brief post in #Esperanto, based on an article in English, about a "Russian student" who was involved in a protest. An editor from Russia, reading my post, commented that the student wasn't Russian because they had a Ukrainian name. The student was FROM Russia and had been BORN in Russia, but they weren't RUSSIAN, because Russia doesn't have birthright citizenship. A family can live for generations in Russia and not be Russian. This is what Trump wants to do to America.
