@lopta @jpoesen I've packed up a roll-up J-pole antenna in the past, stuck it into a saddle bag, then unrolled it and hung it from a hook on a nearby tree when operating. No ground plane needed. At least plausibly this works too if you have a suitable flagpole mount (fiberglass mast with a hook at the top).
