@pfmoore @ancoghlan there is a big difference. AI moves power from labor to capital. Outsourcing just equalizes between countries. Entire cultures are being lifted out if poverty in part because of remittances and outsourcing.

@mitsuhiko @pfmoore Yeah, the analogy definitely breaks down once you take a holistic view. My expectation is that most C-suites *won't* take a holistic view though (given they're rather infamous for only caring about externalities when regulators force them to) and it holds well enough to be workable from that narrower perspective.
