@jrose this is how every app worked when I was a baby Cocoa programmer! Spawning threads was weird and hard and mostly not done. -performSelector:afterDelay:0 and manual chunking of work!

@Catfish_Man I think in my baby Cocoa days I just blocked the main thread, and then GCD came out and…well, probably I got it wrong, but “close enough”.
