On one occasion I spent a night at a hotel next to a wide road. That road had 10 lanes in each direction. One might think that number of lanes would be enough for even the busiest roads, but nope. Cars were queuing in all 10 lanes in both directions for as far as I could see in either direction on that road. I am not going to try to draw any conclusion from that particular observation.
