Loftus always does good stuff. My fave is her [Lolita](https://www.iheart.com/podcast/1119-lolita-podcast-73899842/) podcast which breaks down the history of its public perception. The book is a monster attack story, but told from the viewport of the monster. Using flowery language talking to a jury is explaining how it's not that bad, and he eventually rots in prison. The self serving lies are both obvious and numerous . But **some-fucking-how** most people think it's a problematic star crossed lovers, romeo and juilet, age is just a number, forbidden romance BS. Multiple movies and stage have distorted the book into the exact thing the author was mocking. Sorry. Random rant. But goddamn does Jamie do good work.
