@radix023 No, you really have to learn to identify what it looks like. The vine can transfer urushiol to your skin even in the Winter. Additionally, there are a lot of native plants in my area that have shiny leaves (oF ThReE!) that are NOT poison.

The vines are very hairy in winter. Also in summer but you can see the leaves then.
