I was going to cover this, but opted not to. Thick as Thieves, an immersive sim (gotta love them) has ditched the PvPvE model and is focusing on a single player and coop experience. Take note that Dune Awakening is going down the same route. Both after Ark Raiders showed that the PvP community or I should say rat community, is very vocal, but not that significant.
