@LeoBistmans I think both can do the same since they use the same library. Just python3-pyzbar doesn't have to be compiled. I think I can make it optional in the build. The feature which needs it isn't very useful. It scans QR codes with contact info, but many webcams have difficulties to actually provide good enough picture for the library to read the code. And on the desktop you can copy paste the contact info anyway.
