@willcroft @jonhicks @Luke It's interesting with that bifurcation in 26 where you feel it the most when it comes to apps like this which are likely designed for 26 or lend themselves better to it. The vanilla Mac UI below 26 feels utilitarian for sure.

@nazhamid @jonhicks @Luke 100% (and better articulated as well!). I think the same trade-off Longplay and similar apps made in going *OS 26–only is probably the right call. The pre-26 experience just doesn’t live up to the clean, intentional vibe these products are aiming for.
