i spent over a decade contributing to the wider linux ecosystem and pushing for linux as a genuine alternative to windows and macos. i installed it for friends and family who needed an operating system and couldnt afford windows. i used it to revive old “outdated” hardware. i really thought with enough people putting in the work we could build something great. and challenge capitalist tech hegemony. torvalds is sucking off fascists, calling people SJWs, and now wants to restrict kernel contributions, effectively making corporations and their employees the only contributors. linux is dead.
