An annoying thing about living here is that a weirdly high percentage of German nurses get inexplicably _angry_ about you closing your eyes or looking away from a needle/IV. Literally demanding that you watch the whole thing or else look them in the eyes while they do it. I don't know what that is about, but fuck the almighty hell off. It's probably for the best that I am unable to articulate that in German.
