The place enforced monogamy bothers me the most is in media. I love playing video games, especially comfy & cooperative ones like Stardew Valley and Coral Island & every single time I am saddened that, in the base versions at least, there is no way to be polyamorous & complete the game, or at least see everything in it. Heck, Coral Island is getting even worse as it's adding a *jealousy* system which will probably turn me off as jealousy is not the fault of the person or people it's directed at in my opinion.
